2024 Charles Schwab Challenge is scheduled to be played in Texas, USA between 23 and 26 May.
What to know about the tournament
This event is one of five invitational tournaments on the PGA Tour and the inaugural event was held 78 years ago in 1946 as the Colonial National Invitation.
The Charles Schwab Corporation, whose corporate headquarters are in Texas, became the title sponsor of the event in 2019.

The 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge will be a 133-player field and the event will be played out over four days at the Colonial Country Club Fort Worth.
It is part of the 2024 FedExCup regular season and the 2024 FedExCup Playoffs.
Favourites
This year's field is headlined by defending champion Emiliano Grillo and world number one Scottie Scheffler.
Top-10 ranked golfers Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland, and Max Homa will also tee off at the Colonial Country Club Fort Worth.
Furthermore, two-time Charles Schwab Challenge winner Zach Johnson will be part of the 133-player field.
What Is At Stake
The 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge purse is set for $9,1 million, with the winner receiving $1,64 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.
He will also drive off with an exclusive Champion’s Prize – the 1975 Schwab Stingray – along with Colonial’s Leonard Trophy and Scottish Royal Tartan Plaid jacket.
