Leicester still harbour hopes of a top four finish and Uefa Champions League football next season despite falling to fifth following a 2-1 loss at Chelsea earlier this week.

"We're obviously disappointed with the goals. We conceded a needless corner and didn't pick up well enough. The penalty is very harsh," Rodgers said after his team's defeat at Stamford Bridge.

"We've got one more game to go. If we win it and it's still not enough for us we have to accept that. It's still been a great season," the Foxes boss, who guided Leicester to a first FA Cup win, added.

Spurs are out of Champions League contention but can still book their place in the Uefa Europa League or Europa League Conference next season with victory on Sunday. Tottenham lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in their final home game of the season.

"I'm very disappointed. It wasn't how we wanted to finish the season at home in front of our fans," said interim manager Ryan Mason.

"There are so many emotions in football. Yes a lot has been going on but our aim is to get results on the pitch and unfortunately we didn't do that."

A penalty goal from Jamie Vardy and Toby Alderweireld own goal handed the Foxes a 2-0 win over Tottenham in north London earlier this season.
