The Hammers will be licking their lips at the thought of derailing the Red Devils in their quest to consolidate the second spot behind champions Manchester City, and in doing so also move away from the relegation zone.
Currently, West Ham occupy 15th place on the league table with 38 points which is five points clear of the relegation zone.

The Hammers come into this match high on confidence after beating Leicester City 2-0 this past weekend.
Prior to that victory, though, West Ham suffered 4-1 defeats to both Manchester City and Arsenal.

Man United, on the other hand, come into this game off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last Friday.

Prior to that the Red Devils were on a three-match winning run after beating Arsenal (2-1), Tottenham Hotspur (2-1) and Bournemouth (2-0).

Man United can ill afford to drop any points if they want to finish second in the league. The Red Devils currently occupy second place with 77 points, five points above third placed Liverpool.
When West Ham and United met earlier in the season, the Red Devils walked away with an impressive 4-0 win.
