Quotes
"I think we could feel that the goal was close," Wolves star Rodrigo Gomes said after scoring in the team's win over Villa.
"And we scored and then at the end. I’m very, very happy. The night was perfect. I like to play in the rain, it was good, and winning like this was perfect. We need to keep the momentum, we need to keep working.
"Of course, here with our fans at home, we have a chance to win the game. We need to focus now on the things that we need to improve, the things that we need to keep working on, and prepare for the Liverpool game.”
Head-to-Head
Liverpool claimed a 2-1 win over Wanderers in their last Premier League meeting, which was at Anfield in December 2025.
