Udinese vs Inter Milan

Kick-off is at 16:00

As the current Serie A 2025/26 Winter Champions, Inter Milan will now turn their attention to Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Inter have been making a strong case as potential Serie A title contenders this season and head into Serie A Matchday 21 sitting in pole position, three points ahead of AC Milan and six points adrift of reigning league champions Napoli.

The Italian giants will go into their next match on the back of a 1-0 win over Lecce as Pio Esposito grabbed a 78th minute winner at the San Siro on Wednesday 14, January.

Overall, Inter recorded four wins and one draw in their last five league ties, while their upcoming opponents are in 10th place, with one win, two losses and two stalemates in their previous five matches.

Udinese last jotted down a 2-2 draw with Pisa and took their tally to 26 points in 20 games played so far.

Reflecting on Inter winning the Serie A Winter Championship accolade, coach Cristian Chivu believes that his side need to be competitive until the end of the 25/26 campaign.

"I have won this semi-title of winter champion before in my career, but it counts for nothing, what matters is being there in May," Chivu said after Inter’s 1-0 win over Lecce.

"What this means is that we're competitive, but as I said the other day, it'll be a battle to the end for every single point.

"I expected it to be difficult, because when you use up as much energy as we did in the game with Napoli on Sunday and didn't get the full result, that weighs on you.

"Despite the difficulties finding a way through and the right sharpness to make certain choices, this team had the right attitude, it believed to the end and had the heart to carry home the victory."
