Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to make a strong start to the new year when they welcome Golden Arrows to the FNB Stadium on Tuesday, January 20.
The Glamour Boys went unbeaten in their final seven Betway Premiership matches of 2025 to enter the mid-season break just one point outside the continental berths in fourth place.
However, Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze's side picked up just two points in December after playing out to successive 0-0 draws with Chippa United and TS Galaxy.
Amakhosi have kept nine clean sheets this term, although they've also failed to score in four of those encounters and are only averaging a goal a game (13 from 13 fixtures).

Abafana Bes'thende are aiming to snap a three-match losing streak which left them down in 10th position before the league went on an extended break for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Manqoba Mngqithi's side struggled for consistency in the first half of the campaign, winning just five of their opening 14 games and only recording back-to-back successes once.
Arrows closed out last year with defeats against Orlando Pirates (3-1), Galaxy (2-1) and AmaZulu (1-0), while they were beaten 1-0 by Chiefs in the reverse fixture on August 30.

Mngqithi has predicted better times for the club in 2026 though, as he believes the landscape of the league is going to be reshaped dramatically over the next five months.
"Let's embrace this new year. It's going to be one of the best years of this team... let's embrace it and enjoy every moment," the told the club's media department.
"I urge fans to come to our matches because the landscape of the league is going to change completely, and I can assure you that this team is going to be stronger this year."
