Atletico Madrid will face off with Real Valladolid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on January 21.
The Mattress Makers were held to a 1-1 draw by UD Almeria away in their previous league game which was played on January 15.
Therefore, Atletico are winless in their last two matches in this competition having recorded one draw and one defeat which came against FC Barcelona.

The Mattress Makers lost to Barcelona in their last game at home in La Liga and the defeat ended their four-match unbeaten run at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano.
Meanwhile, Valladolid suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano at home in their last league game which was played on January 14.
As a result, the White and Violets are winless in their last four matches in La Liga having recorded four consecutive defeats.
Furthermore, Valladolid are also winless in their last four away matches in this competition having registered four successive defeats on the road.
"Today we weren't good, if we lack confidence on the ball and on the road we have a problem and today we had it," Valladolid manager Pacheta said after the defeat to Vallecano.
"I hope it doesn't happen again, this goes beyond convincing our goalscoring opportunities, we have to have that joy to compete and not for the result.
"Last year we lost three matches in a row and we have to get out of this situation, that is the path we have to follow."
The last league meeting between Atletico and Valladolid was on 22 May 2022.
Atletico emerged as 2-1 winners over Valladolid in a match that was played at the Estadio José Zorrilla which is the largest in Castile and León.
