Serie A
Matchday 27
Como vs Lecce
Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia
Como, Italy
Saturday, 28 February 2026
Kick-off is at 16:00
Following a morale-boosting win over Juventus last time out, Como will reignite their goals to play in European competition next season when they take on Lecce in Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Saturday.
Como enjoyed a positive start to the 2025/26 campaign and are currently sixth in Serie A with 45 points after 26 matches played, five points adrift from a UEFA Champions League position.
Lecce on the other hand, are 18th on the log after accumulating just 24 points from 26 games. As they sit in a dangerous position heading into the month of March, Lecce, Cremonese and Fiorentina share the same amount of points and are three away from the safe zone.
In their most recent matches, Como recorded a 2-0 win over Juventus at the Allianz Stadium this past Saturday, while Lecce’s latest outing was a 2-0 home defeat to Inter Milan, in what was a result that summed up their torrid season.
Regarding both sides' form, Como recorded two wins, two draws and one loss in their last five games, with Lecce currently on a run of two victories, two defeats and one draw during the same period.

Speaking after Como’s win over Juventus, Cesc Fabregas believes his side had to dig deep to beat the Italian giants despite making changes for the game.
“Focus becomes fundamental if you want to come here and beat a strong team with a coach who had turned a corner,” Fabregas said.
“I know people look only at the results, but if you look at the style of football and level of performances since Spalletti arrived, it is an incredible turnaround.
“We tried to play in a way that made it difficult for them today. My lads put in a top performance, and we did something different to other games, which was to score the second goal. Against this kind of talent and quality, if you don’t get the second goal, they will claw you back eventually.
“I really liked that my goalkeeper only made one save in the whole match, which means we were in control of the situation.”
