With Barcelona back on top of the Spanish La Liga table, the Catalan giants will target more positive results as they welcome Villarreal at the Spotify Camp Nou this Saturday.
As it stands, Barcelona are in pole position on the league standings with 61 points from 25 matches, one point ahead of European giants Real Madrid.
Following a convincing 3-0 victory over Levante in their most recent league outing, Barcelona have now jotted down four wins and one draw in their last five league ties.
Villarreal are third on the LaLiga table with 51 points after 25 games played, as they look to challenge for a UEFA Champions League spot this season.
The Yellow Submarines yielded a mixed bag of results during the last couple of weeks, with three wins, a draw and one defeat across their last handful of league assignments.
Villarreal will head into the game against Barcelona on the back of a two-match winning streak, most notably through a 2-1 win against Valencia last time out.

Reflecting on Barca’s win over Levante, Hansi Flick called for his side to rest and recover following a good response in getting back to winning ways in the league.
“We know it isn’t easy to start winning again after two defeats, but the team gave a very good response” Flick said.
“It’s important to have these days to rest and focus on the next match, which will be a tough one.”
