The UAE Grand Prix will be held in Abu Dhabi, which is the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the country's 2nd most populous city, on 7 December.
What to know about the UAE Grand Prix
The first race took place on 1 November 2009, held at the Hermann Tilke-designed Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, near Abu Dhabi, as the final race of the 2009 Formula One season.
The inaugural UAE Grand Prix was Formula One's first day–night race, starting at 17:00 local time. The event has been held every year since, and is due to take place at the Yas Marina Circuit until at least 2030.

The Qatar Grand Prix, which was the 23rd round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship, was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing on 30 November.
McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz Jr of Williams joined Verstappen on the podium after finishing second and third, respectively, in Lusail.
Standings
Lando Norris of McLaren remains at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings with one race left in the current campaign.
Verstappen and Piastri are placed second and third, respectively, as they look to beat Norris to the title at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Looking at the World Constructors' Championship standings, McLaren are placed at the top, having been crowned 2025 champions. Mercedes, Red Bull Racing and Ferrari will finish in this order, respectively.
Favourites
All eyes will be on the top three drivers, Norris, Verstappen and Piastri, as they are the only ones still in contention for the 2025 Formula One championship.
The most successful driver in the history of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari, will be targeting a record-extending sixth win in the UAE.
