US Sassuolo will play host to SS Lazio in an Italian
Serie A match at the MAPEI Stadium on December 12.
The Black and Greens were held to a 2-2 draw by Spezia Calcio away in their previous league game which was played on December 5.
Sassuolo are now undefeated in their last four matches in this competition having recorded three draws and one win.

However, the Black and Green are winless in their last three matches at home in Serie A having registered two successive draws and one defeat.
Meanwhile, Lazio secured a 3-1 win over UD Sampdoria away as the two teams drew 2-2 in their previous league game which was played on December 5.
As a result, the Eagles are unbeaten in their last two matches in this competition having recorded one draw and one victory.
However, Lazio are winless in their last six away matches in Serie A having registered two draws and four defeats on the road.

“We need to be more organised than we have been in recent games, otherwise we lose balance," Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri said after the win over Sampdoria.
"So today I asked the players to not lose their positions. At times, the team can get a bit too instinctive and lose their shape.
“We passed the ball with quality in the first half and it could’ve torn any opponent apart. Samp are a good squad, so this result should not be underestimated.”
The last meeting between Sassuolo and Lazio in the league was on 23 May 2021.
Sassuolo claimed a narrow 2-0 victory over Lazio in a match which was played at the MAPEI Stadium which is also known as Città del Tricolore.
