Max Verstappen will be looking to edge closer to Jim Clark's record (five titles) by winning the
Dutch Grand Prix for the fourth time.

The Red Bull Racing driver failed to secure a podium spot at the Hungarian Grand Prix on August 3, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Verstappen started on the eighth grid and he went on to finish ninth, which saw him collect just two points from the race held at the Hungaroring.
Formula One title ambitions
The accomplished driver is still placed third in the World Drivers' Championship standings, having collected 187 points.
Verstappen is 88 points behind second-placed Lando Norris of McLaren and 97 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Verstappen could win the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix
The three-time Dutch Sportsman of the Year was unstoppable at the Circuit Zandvoort between 2021 and 2023 as he won three successive Dutch Grand Prix races.
Having finished second in the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix, Verstappen will be determined to return to winning ways in front of his compatriots and family this weekend.
What did he say?
"There’s nothing to make of it. It was really awful. But that’s been the case all weekend, so it’s not exactly shocking," Verstappen said after finishing ninth at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix.
"It was just terrible. Nothing worked. In Spa, we had a much more competitive weekend, but I know we’re not at the level of McLaren. They are doing a really good job this year.
"But this is a bit weird for us, it’s something we need to investigate.”
