Quotes
“If they come with a revenge mentality, that will work better for us, In our team, we prepare for all scenarios and any type of approach. We will be ready," Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi said about Kaizer Chiefs.
They are currently the highest-scoring team in the league, having netted 50 thus far. Control is important for us if you play such matches. You have to focus on the details, being incisive in our attack, control the transitions, and we have to be highly clinical in front of goals.
"We know where we have not been doing as well, and we're just focussing on that. Perfecting it for this match will give us the outcome. There's no history or form in such matches, it's what you do on the day, and that's what we are preparing to do."
Head-To-Head
Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have met 184 times in official matches since their maiden game in 1970.
Amakhosi have the upper hand having recorded 75 wins compared to Bucs' 50 victories, while 54 games ended in a draw and five were abandoned due to various reasons.
