Lewis Hamilton will be determined to become the second driver to win the
Japanese Grand Prix a record six times after Michael Schumacher.

The Mercedes driver endured a disappointing performance at the Australian Grand Prix on 24 March as he failed to finish the race.
Hamilton started on the 11th grid and he was forced to retire due to an engine problem which saw him fail to record a single point.
Standings
The accomplished driver is now placed 10th on the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated eight points from three races.
Hamilton is still 43 points behind the leader & Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT driver Max Verstappen who was also forced to retire at the Australian Grand Prix.
Why Hamilton could win the 2024 Japanese GP
The 2003 Autosport British Club Driver of the Year is one of the most successful drivers in the history of this race as he was crowned champion five times in Japan.
Having won the Japanese GP title in 2007, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018, Hamilton will be confident to make it six wins when he competes in one of his favourite circuits, Suzuka International Racing Course.
What did he say?
"Surprisingly I feel pretty good. I'm trying to keep things in perspective. It could be so much worse," Hamilton said after the 2024 Australian Grand Prix.
"I really enjoyed my time in Australia and I'm still enjoying working with the team. Of course, I would love to be fighting for wins and actually finishing races.
"It's never great to end a race this way. But what I know is we will bounce back and eventually get there, we just have to continue to push."
