The
2021 French MotoGP which is also known as the SHARK Grand Prix de France is set to take place in Le Mans on May 16.
This will be the fifth round of this year's Championship and it will take place at the Circuit Bugatti.
The 2020 French Grand Prix was won by Danilo Petrucci of Ducati and he was followed by Honda rider Alex Marquez and KTM's Pol Espargaro respectively.
The most recent race in the 2021 MotoGP World Championship season was the Spanish Grand Prix which took place on May 2.

The Spanish Grand Prix was won by Jack Miller of Ducati following an enthralling race at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.
Miller was followed by his teammate Francesco Bagnaia and Yamaha rider Franco Morbidelli, who finished second and third respectively.
Bagnaia is now placed at the top of the 2021 Riders' standings with 66 points having finished second in the last two races in the season.
While Yamaha duo of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales are placed second and third respectively on the standings having both accumulated 64 and 50 points respectively.

Espargaro, who is now with Honda, stated that his bike was a mess in all areas apart from braking in a difficult Spanish Grand Prix race and he finished 10th.
“[I was] just feeling really bad, we have no traction, we have no turning and our speed is not good,” Espargaro said.
“I cannot ride smooth, my pace doesn’t come, I’m riding tight and trying to gain more and more in brakes. But then the brakes gave up and I go wide, because in the other areas we are a mess. It’s like this.”
Yamaha are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ducati and Suzuki respectively.
