Hellas Verona will square off with Cagliari in an Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on June 20.
 
The Yellow and Blues succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Sampdoria away in their last league match which was played on March 08.
 
The defeat ended their nine-match unbeaten run in the league having recorded five draws and four wins.
 
However, they are unbeaten in their last four home games in the Serie A having registered one draw and three victories.
 
Meanwhile, Cagliari recorded a narrow 4-3 defeat against AS Roma at home in their last league match which was played March 01.
 
The defeat extended the Islanders' winless run to 11 matches in the league having recorded seven defeats and four draws.
 
They are also winless in their last seven away matches in the Serie A having registered three defeats and four draws on the road.
 
Joao Pedro, the Cagliari midfielder, is looking forward to the resumption of the current Serie A season.
 
"Many unpredictable situations will happen, we will have to be good at focusing attention and knowing how to exploit them," Pedro said.
 
"Always aiming up, without looking back. I would like Cagliari to end the Centenary season at a great pace. For the people and why this team deserves it."
 
The last meeting between Verona and Cagliari in a league game was on 29 October 2019. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in an encounter which was played at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
