2025-26 Italian Serie A
Matchday 3
Juventus v Inter Milan
Juventus Stadium
Turin, Italy
Saturday, 13 September 2025
Kick-off is at 18h00
Juventus' 100 per cent record in
Serie A this season will come under threat when they host Inter Milan at the Juventus Stadium on Saturday, September 13.
The Old Lady are in a four-way tie with Napoli, Cremonese and Roma at the top of the table after picking up six points from their opening two games.
Igor Tudor's side, who have yet to concede any goals this term along with the Partenopei and the Giallorossi, beat Parma 2-0 on August 24 before edging Genoa 1-0 seven days later.
The Nerazzurri will be looking to get back on the winning trail after slipping to a surprise 2-1 defeat against Udinese on August 31, having kicked off proceedings with a 5-0 demolition of Torino six days earlier.
Inter have found Juve a hard nut to crack in recent times, winning just two of their last 10 meetings and ending up on the losing side four times.
The Milan giants took just one point off the Bianconeri last term, going down 1-0 in the corresponding fixture on February 16 after sharing the spoils in a thrilling 4-4 draw at the San Siro on October 27.
Tudor hailed a spirited performance from his players against the Griffin and was pleased to see his defence hold firm after coming under some pressure.
"I saw the right spirit. Before the match, there was an extremely positive atmosphere in the dressing room," the Croatian said.
"We needed a performance like this because when you come to play in Genoa, you have to sweat from the start until you leave the pitch with a win.
"I'm also very satisfied with the two matches without conceding any goals, which means that defensively, we've played two excellent [games]."
Inter head coach Cristian Chivu wants to see a response from his players in Turin and admits they may need to scrap if the situation demands it.
"We need to react quickly and put this behind us, we need to work and find the right motivation to restart in the best way possible," the Romanian said.
"We need to learn to manage the moments better, when we need to play well, we do so, but when we need to do the dirty work, we need to step up and do it."
