On the back of three consecutive wins in
La Liga, Real Madrid look to their game against Real Sociedad with much optimism with their game set to take place at the Reale Arena on Saturday.
In search of their 37
th league title, Madrid began the 2025/26 campaign with a 100% win record after three matches played.
After wins against Osasuna, Oviedo and Mallorca respectively, the European giants sit at the top of the table, while Sociedad linger in 16
thposition.
Sociedad commenced their season with back-to-back draws against Valencia and Espanyol mid-way through August. Now though, the seasoned LaLiga side will go into their next league assignment on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat against Oviedo.
Speaking on Real Madrid’s trophy aspirations this season, French superstar Kylian Mbappe expressed that Los Blancos have to prove their worth in LaLiga.
“We have to keep working, we have to keep trying because we know how difficult it is to win trophies,” Mbappe said.
“We learned a lot from last season, but it’s time to prove it. Of course, this will take some time.
“This season is very important for the club, but we’re also heading towards the World Cup, so it’s also important for all the players who want to go there, including myself.”
