Wolves suffered a 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace away on 3 September and it was their second defeat in their last three league games.
Wanderers are also winless in their last two home matches in the Premier League, having recorded one defeat and one draw at the Molineux Stadium.
Meanwhile, Liverpool thrashed Aston Villa 3-0 at home on 3 September as they extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches in the league.
The Reds are also undefeated in their last seven matches on the road in this competition, having registered three draws and four wins as the away side.
Team News
Joseph Hodge is the only player on the Wolves injury list at the moment and the club has no suspension concerns.
On the other hand, Liverpool will be without the suspended Virgil van Dijk, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, and Ibrahim Konate are all out injured.
"Obviously all the boys go round the world now and we have to come back and regroup straight away and try to keep the momentum going," Liverpool star Joe Gomez said after their win over Villa.

"[We] just keep pushing on and see how we get on. There has been a lot of change this year with personnel, but the boys that have come in [are] unbelievable and showed their ability.
"It's a breath of fresh air as well to see the boys settle so quickly and do what they do and express themselves. Like I say, it's just the start, we have to keep progressing."
Liverpool claimed a 2-0 win over Wolves in their last meeting in the league which was on 1 March 2023 at the Anfield Stadium.
Prior to this match, Wolves had ended their 11-match unbeaten run in the Premier League against the Reds in the 2022/23 first-round league clash.
