Gli Azzurri would go top of Serie A with victory over Udinese on Monday evening before matches against Sampdoria and Cagliari later this week.
Napoli started the season with three straight wins, including a 2-1 comeback victory over Juventus in which Kalidou Koulibaly scored a late winner for Luciano Spaletti's men.
“The evening against Juventus was magical,” Italian forward Andrea Petagna told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli in the aftermath. “Everyone asked us to win.
“We demonstrated to be strong and to have prepared well for the game, [manager] Spalletti is great in this regard.
“We are a strong team and we demonstrated this last year too, we were lacking something in our character and this season we have added it. We are in the Scudetto race, we don’t need to hide," he added.
Blucerchiati thumped Empoli 3-0 on Sunday for their first win of the 2021/22 campaign.

Last season, Napoli took six points off Sampdoria. They followed a 2-1 win in Naples with a 2-0 victory away.
