The
2020 San Marino Grand Prix is set to take place in Misano Adriatico which is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rimini in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna.
This will be the sixth round of this year's Championship and it will take place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The race circuit was designed in 1969 as the Misano World Circuit, but in 2012 it was renamed to commemorate Marco Simoncelli, a local motorcycle racer, who died in 2011.

Honda rider Marc Marquez won last year's San Marino Grand Prix and it was his third title in Misano Adriatico having also won the race in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
However, Marquez, who is the reigning MotoGP world champion, is set to miss this weekend's race due to an injury.
Yamaha duo of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales finished second, and third respectively in an enthralling race.
Quartararo is placed at the top of the 2020 riders' standings and he is followed by Ducati duo of Andrea Dovizioso and Jack Miller respectively.

Alberto Puig, the Honda team manager, provided an update on Marquez, who is placed at the bottom of the riders' standings without a single point.
"There has been a lot of talk about Marc's recovery and the various deadlines,” Puig said.
"But from the first day after the second operation we have said that the only objective that exists is for him to be one hundred percent.
“We do not want to rush. Once Marc is in a position to return and compete at the level he knows, then we will think about the next objective."
Yahama are sitting at the top of the Manufacturers' Championship standings with 88 points.
Ducati and KTM are placed second and third with 87 and 82 points respectively on the standings.
