2025/26 Premier League
Matchday 10
Manchester City v AFC Bournemouth
Etihad Stadium
Manchester, England
Sunday, 2 November 2025
Kick-off is at 18h30
Manchester City will be keen to return to winning ways in the
Premier League when they host AFC Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium on 2 November.
Current Form
The Citizens saw their six-match unbeaten run in the league come to an end when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa away on 26 October.

However, City are undefeated in their last three home matches in the Premier League, having recorded three back-to-back victories at the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth emerged as 2-0 winners over Nottingham Forest at home on 26 October and they are unbeaten in their last eight matches in the league.
The Cherries are also enjoying a three-match unbeaten run on the road in the Premier League, having recorded two consecutive draws and one victory as the away side.
Team News
Abdukodir Khusanov and Rodri are the two players on City's injury list at the moment and there are no suspension concerns for Pep Guardiola's side.

On the other hand, Evanilson is the only player on Bournemouth's injury list presently and there are no suspension issues for the Dorset-based outfit.

Quotes

“It’s still a long way to go. I don’t want to draw too many conclusions. We would love to be at the top but we’re not. It’s way too early to draw conclusions," Man City captain Bernardo Silva said after his side's defeat to Villa.

“I would say we played quite well with the ball. Our offensive concepts are really good. Even if we didn’t score we had chances. We made them defend deep and they struggled in some moments. On the other side of the game we were really bad defensively.

“Obviously they are a very good team, this is a Champions League team, a team with a lot of quality players. But we have to look at ourselves.”

Head-to-Head
City claimed a 3-1 win over Bournemouth in their last meeting in the league, which was in May 2025 at the Etihad Stadium.
It was the Citizens' second win in their last three Premier League games against the Cheers, who won the other match.
