Current Form
The Little Donkeys hammered US Lecce 4-0 away on 30 September and they are now unbeaten in their last four matches in the competition.
Napoli have won two of their last three home matches in the league while the other game ended in a defeat at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina thrashed Cagliari FC 3-0 at home on 2 October as they extended their unbeaten run to four matches in Serie A.
Viola are also enjoying an 11-match unbeaten run on the road in the Italian top-flight having registered four draws and seven victories.
Team News
Napoli have no suspension concerns, but Juan Jesus and Amir Rrahmani are currently out injured.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, will be without Dodô, Gaetano Castrovilli, Niccolò Pierozzi and Yerry Mina who are nursing injuries, but the club has no suspension issues.
“We controlled the game well," Napoli manager Rudi Garcia said after he masterminded a convincing victory over Lecce.
"We wanted to start strong, score in the opening 15 minutes and I am glad the opener game from a free kick, as my staff had identified that was the area where we could hurt them.
“Today is Serie A, we have three days and a press conference before the Champions League. We are satisfied with this victory, there were no injuries and the most important thing now is to recover so on Tuesday night we can give our best in front of our fans.”
Napoli claimed a 1-0 win over Fiorentina in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 7 May 2023 at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
As a result, the Little Donkeys are undefeated in their last two matches in the league against Viola having recorded one draw and one win.
