Max Verstappen will be looking to take another step towards retaining the Formula One world title by clinching the
Qatar Grand Prix.

The Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT driver bounced back to winning ways in style at the recent 2023 Japanese Grand Prix on 24 September.
Verstappen started first on the grid and he never looked back as he went on to win the race which earned him 26 important points.
Standings
The two-time Formula World champion remains at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 400 points from 16 races.
Verstappen is 177 points clear of second-placed Sergio Perez as the Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT duo compete for the Formula One world title.
Why Verstappen could win the 2023 Qatar GP
The 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix champion came close to winning the Qatar Grand Prix two years ago as he finished second behind race winner Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes.
Verstappen will now be confident of going one step further at the Lusail International Circuit by winning the race - recording his 14th victory of the season in the process.
What did he say?
"It was only the P1 trophy that had a button to light up," Verstappen told his stream after the recent Japanese Grand Prix.
"There was a kind of remote control with which you could choose all the countries. It said you could kiss the trophy, but you could also literally press the button.
"But it looks better if you kiss the trophy, I think."
