DeChambeau eyes 2nd Shriners Hospital for Children Open title

Bryson DeChambeau will be looking to win the Shriners Hospital for Children Open title for the second time. 
The American star, who is placed sixth in the Official World Golf Rankings, is among the best golfers in the world.
DeChambeau won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in November 2018 ahead of his compatriot Patrick Cantlay.

The win was worth $1,260,000 in prize money and it also brought him to number five in the Official World Golf Ranking.
The 28-year-old golfer has won eight times on the PGA Tour including one major championship, the 2020 US Open.
Renowned for his analytical and scientific approaches to the sport, DeChambeau has acquired the nickname of 'The Scientist.'
The Scientist played for the US team in the recent 2021 Ryder Cup and he helped his nation won 19–9 as he went 2–0–1 and won his Sunday singles match against Sergio García.

DeChambeau has stated that he is going to continue competing in long-drive tournaments.
"I'm definitely going to continue to keep doing this," DeChambeau said ahead of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
"and I think these guys that are bigger, better, faster, stronger than me are going to keep pushing me to go faster.
"I think this is going to translate over really, really well to the PGA Tour."
Jim Furyk is the most decorated player in the history of Shriners Hospital for Children Open having won three titles.
