Matchday 13

Juventus v Inter Milan

Juventus Stadium
Turin, Italy

Kick-off is at 21h45

Juventus and Inter Milan will continue to battle it out for Serie A supremacy when they meet in a top-of-the-table clash at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday, November 26 in the late kick-off.

The two teams have made a flying start to the season and are separated by just two points after losing just once each in their opening 12 matches.

The Old Lady beat Cagliari 2-1 on November 11 to make it five wins on the spin as they stayed in touch with the Nerazzurri, who ran out 2-0 victors against Frosinone to remain at the league summit.

Inter are now unbeaten in their last six games, although their recent form is not as good as Juve's, with Massimiliano Allegri's side having gone seven matches undefeated, six of them ending in wins.

AC Milan (3rd) have fallen off the pace in the title race after failing to collect maximum points from their last four outings, which has widened the gap to the top two to six points.

Federico Chiesa will be looking to rediscover his early-season form for Juve, which saw him score four goals in his first five outings. However, the Italian winger has failed to find the back of the net in his last six appearances and he may struggle to breach the meanest defence in the league, with Inter having conceded just six goals.

Laurato Martinez has spearheaded Inter's title challenge with an impressive 12 goals from 12 games. The Argentine striker set a new Serie A record against Salernitana on September 30 when he became the first player to score four times in a single match as a substitute.

Allegri praised his players for another solid performance against the Rossoblu, although he admits they could be more clinical in the final third.

"It was important to win, as it would put us in a strong position in the table. It is never easy to win games, Cagliari are in excellent form," he said.

"We need to be more efficient, calmer in making the final ball, but the spirit is extraordinary. The squad know that they need that to bring home the victory.

"While at the start of the season we got a bit frustrated when not finding the net, now we remain solid and consistent."

Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi dismissed suggestions that they are now title favourites, telling DAZN after the win over Frosinone: "No. I don't like these kinds of predictions.

"We promise the fans that we'll try to play as many matches as possible, like last season. And then there are many well-equipped teams. Maybe they consider us favourites because of how we're playing."
