Webb Simpson will be hoping to win the
RSM Classic for the first time having narrowly missed out in the 2019 title.
The American star finished second behind his compatriot Tyler Duncan, who won the RSM Classic title with a 12-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a playoff.
Since then Simpson, who is currently ranked 26 in the Official World Golf Rankings, has won two tournaments which are part of the PGA Tour.

The North Carolina-born golfer won the Waste Management Phoenix Open in a playoff over his countryman Tony Finau in February 2020.
A result that lifted Simpson back into the world top 10 for the first time since 2012 when he clinched his first and only golf major, US Open.
The 36-year-old then won the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina in June 2020.
Simpson ran off five birdies in a six-hole stretch on the back nine and closed with a 7-under 64 for a one-shot victory over Mexico's Abraham Ancer.
"I didn't want to settle or become complacent after winning a major, I wanted to stay hungry," Simpson, who is a seven-time PGA Tour winner, said about his winning mentality.
"It's easy to do. It's easy to win a big tournament and kind of get a little lazy, so it's been a good motivator for me to work a little harder.
"It feels great to win and I can't be more thankful to the Lord for walking me through every step. God was and is so faithful every time."
He also finished second in the RSM Classic in 2011 behind champion Ben Crane.
