Man City seek redemption against PSG

Manchester City will square off with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in a UEFA Champions League Group A match on November 24. 
 
The English giants proved too strong for champions Club Brugge as they claimed a 4-1 win away in their last Group A game on November 3.
 
Therefore, City are undefeated in their last two matches in the Champions League having recorded two successive victories.

They are also undefeated in their last two home matches in the competition having registered two consecutive wins at the Etihad Stadium.
 
"We help eachother. What we have done these years, when you are City nobody helps you. What we have done, we do it," City manager Pep Guardiola said as he reacted to their win over Brugge.
 
"So satisfied, when you are in high clubs I understand, here no. What we win we know, that's why all the titles I won before was because I was with the big clubs. Absolutely, the pleasure is higher. Every game is tough, they change the shape that they played in Belgium. 
 
"The team played really well. The spirit of the team is fantastic. We played well all game, of course they attacked channels, played two strikers, made good moments. We played really well, I like the way we played."

Meanwhile, PSG were held to a 2-2 draw by German outfit RB Leipzig at home in their previous Group A match on November 3. 
 
The draw extended the French giants' unbeaten run to four matches in the Champions League having recorded two draws and two consecutive wins.  
 
However, PSG are winless in their last three matches on the road in the competition having registered two draws in a row and one defeat as the visitors. 
 
The last time City played host to PSG in a competitive match was on 4 May 2021.
 
City claimed a comfortable 2-0 victory over PSG in a Champions League semi-final second-leg match at the Etihad Stadium.
