Napoli vs Torino

Kick-off is at 21:45

As the 2025/26 Serie A season enters a pivotal phase, Napoli will host Torino in what looks set to be an interesting clash between the reigning league champions and a side hoping to gather momentum in the mid-range of the league table.

Napoli currently occupy third place in the Serie A standings with 53 points after 27 matches with 16 wins to their name so far. While Antonio Conte has previously suggested that a title race may be over, Napoli are firmly in the hunt for European qualification next season.

The Naples outfit are 14 points behind log leaders Inter Milan following their 2-1 victory over Verona this past Saturday.  Regarding their form, Napoli have struggled to yield a positive run of results in the last couple of weeks and recorded three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five league ties.

Torino sit well below Napoli in 14th place on 30 points, in what has been a campaign riddled with mixed results.

Heading into the month of March, Torino jotted down a 2-0 win against Lazio on Sunday, which happened to be their first victory after four matches in Serie A.

While Napoli look up, Torino are a mere six points away from the relegation zone after recording two wins, two losses and one draw in their last handful of ties.

Speaking after Napoli’s win over Verona and his side’s performances this season overall, Conte believes that he is learning while being in uncharted waters during the 2025/26 campaign.

"This is a season that I will carry with me, because it is teaching me so much about how to deal with situations I’d never experienced before," Conte said.

"This experience is improving me in so many ways. Dealing with all these situations is not at all easy. I feel that it is making me a better coach.

"We find a way to stay on our feet and find the right way through, not just on a football level, but as human beings too.

"We know that we genuinely risk missing out on Europe entirely, we are scraping the bottom of the barrel here. We did well to take the points home today, knowing that we can play much better than this."
