Viktor Hovland returns to defend his title at the Valspar Championship and is one of seven former champions in the field for the 11th event on the PGA Tour.
The Norwegian claimed the last of his seven PGA Tour wins a year ago when he carded an 11-under 273 to beat Justin Thomas by one stroke at Innisbrook Resort.
Hovland featured at the Players Championship most recently and finished T13, having achieved the same placing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational the previous week.
The 28-year-old only has one top-10 finish thus far in 2026 from the six events he's competed in - T10 at the Phoenix Open in the opening week of February.
Hovland is constantly pursuing new ways to improve his game and was seen wearing pool floaties on the driving range at the Genesis Invitational, while he's switched coaches several times.
"It's not like I have a theory behind it (changing), but the game of golf is constantly evolving and there's new challenges that arise all the time," he said.
"I feel like I'm obviously a very curious person and there's a lot of smart people out there. If I feel like there's something missing or - and I obviously haven't been very happy with the state of my game the last few years - I'm constantly searching to try to hear other perspectives that might resonate with me a little bit more.
"It's not to say that - like I feel like every single person that I work with I've gotten good information, and I don't seek out dumb people, I find the smartest people that I deem are out there, and I really listen to them and I've learned from a lot of them."
