Joe Sullivan is in pole position to win the Order of Merit when the Betway Big Easy Tour Final takes place at the Waterkloof Golf Club from 17-19 March.
The Englishman has accrued 1,265.69 points during the 2025-26 season to lead the Order of Merit ahead of Daniel Cronje after finishing T12 in the Play Off last month.
Sullivan won the first of his two Big Easy Tour titles in June 2025, having beaten Tristan Leonard in a sudden death in the Betway Big Easy Blue Label Invitational 2.
The 23-year-old then claimed his second win in November after finishing one stroke ahead of compatriot Matt Millar in the Betway Big Easy Blue Label Invitational 5.
Sullivan has another seven top 10s this term and came close to success on another three occasions with back-to-back T2s in the Betway Big Easy Tour 2 and 3 and second place in the Betway Big Easy Tour 5.
Speaking after his maiden success at Killarney Country Club, he said: "What a moment. I've been grinding hard, and it felt like the win has been coming over the last couple of weeks, so it's nice to finally get it done.
"This win is important because the more points I get, the easier it will be for me to finish inside the top 12 and get my Sunshine Tour card at the end of the year; that's what we are all playing for here. I'm just happy that I can get the points early on in the season."
