Justin Thomas will be determined to register his first win of the
2024 PGA Tour season by winning The Players Championship.
What to know about Thomas
The American star has won 17 professional tournaments including 15 victories on the PGA Tour, including the 2017 and 2022 PGA Championship.
Thomas also won a Web.com Tour event, Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship in 2014 and PNC Championship (with father Mike Thomas) in 2020.

The man nicknamed JT was in action at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill, Florida, USA where he finished 12th.
JT, who is a former world number on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), is currently placed 24th on the rankings and he is a former world number one.
Why Thomas is among the favourites
Thomas will be making his ninth career appearance at Players Championship having won the tournament in 2021.
The 30-year-ol's Players Championship win featured a tournament-record 12-under 132 on the weekend.
It put the Kentucky native in rarified air, as one of just four players since 1960 to notch his 14th victory before his 28th birthday (Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Miller and Tiger Woods).
"It's just really just a part of a career," Thomas said at the recent 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
"I think what's easy, when you go and look at it at the end of a career, you kind of have your peaks, your valleys, whatever you want to call it
"But when you look at it over 20 to 30 years it's just kind of like this, you don't see the huge ups and downs. Again, I'm just... everything's just in a better place."
