Chad Ramey will be keen to make history by becoming the first golfer to successfully defend the
Corales Puntacana Championship title.
What to know about Ramey
The American golfer has won two tournaments since he turned professional in 2014 at the age of 22.
Ramey played on the PGA Tour Canada in 2017 and finished 16th on the Order of Merit; claiming a card for the 2018 Web.com Tour season.
The Mississippi-born golfer claimed his first professional victory in 2021 at the Live and Work in Maine Open before clinching the Corales Puntacana Championship in 2022.

Ramey has secured a top 27 finish in his last two PGA Tour tournaments as he finished 27th at the Valspar Championship and The Players Championship this year.
The former Mississippi State University student is currently ranked 199th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR).
Why Ramey is among the favourites
Ramey will be returning to the Puntacana Resort and Club where he carded a final-round 67 to beat Ben Martin and Alex Smalley by one shot last year.
The 30-year-old should be confident of replicating the same form at this year's Corales Puntacana Championship and retain the trophy.

"It was very stressful, very nerve-wracking coming down the stretch, but I just grinded it out, kind of stuck to my process, stayed within myself and pulled it out."
