2020/21 Italian Serie A

Matchday 32

Italy
20-22 April 2021

Juventus will be determined to cement their place in the Serie A top four when they face Parma at the Allianz Stadium on April 21.

This will be the 50th competitive meeting between the two teams since 1993 and Juventus have been dominant.

Juventus, who are placed fourth on the league standings, have recorded 26 victories compared to Parma's nine victories, while 14 matches ended in a draw.

The last match between the two teams ended in a 4-0 win in favour of Juventus in a Serie A game at the Ennio Tardini Stadium on 19 December 2020.

Andrea Pirlo, the Juventus manager, says they are now focusing on securing a top-four finish in order to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.

“We put in a good display against a strong side, playing the game we needed to – focused and aggressive. However, the key moments went in their favour, with the late goal," Pirlo said.

"It’s a shame because we could have taken at least a point from the game. Now we have to focus on ourselves and win as many games as possible to get into the Champions League.

"If we play like we did today, with this spirit, I'm convinced we won't have any problems in the rest of the league campaign.”

Meanwhile, fifth-placed Napoli will be hoping to boost their top-four hopes when they lock horns with Lazio at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on April 22.

The two teams are scheduled to clash for the 46th time across all competitions since 1993 and Napoli have the upper hand.

Napoli have claimed 20 wins compared to Lazio's 16 victories, while nine games ended in a draw.

Lastly, sixth-placed AS Roma will also be eager to move closer to the top four teams when they face off with Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico on April 22.

The two teams meet for the 45th time in a competitive match since 1993 and Roma have an edge over Atalanta.

Roma have claimed 22 victories compared to Atalanta's 14 wins, while eight matches ended in a draw.

However, Atalanta secured a 4-1 win over Atalanta in their last meeting between the two teams which was a Serie A game at the Gewiss Stadium on 20 December 2020.
