World no. 38 Keegan Bradley is looking to join a very elite list as he goes in search of a third Travelers Championship title from 18-21 June.
The American is the defending champion at River Highlands after he carded a 15-under 265 to beat Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henley by one stroke in 2025.
Bradley became just the eighth player to win the tournament twice, having also triumphed in Cromwell two years earlier when he broke the scoring record with a 257.
Only Billy Casper and Bubba Watson have won the Travelers Championship three times, while Phil Mickelson is the sole player to achieve back-to-back victories (2001 and 2002).
Bradley has not enjoyed a good season, failing to finish inside the top 10 even once out of the 15 events he's competed in.
The 40-year-old's best showing was a T12 at the RBC Heritage and he finished outside the top 20 in the first three majors of the year - a T21 at the Masters, a T32 at the US Open after his MC at the PGA Championship.
Bradley, who captained the 2025 US Ryder Cup team, returned to New York for the first time since that defeat at Bethpage and was grateful for the warm reception he received at Shinnecock Hills.
"I never know what to expect," he said. "I would understand if they were upset, but I didn't get any of that. I haven't really at all. I'm really thankful for that.
"I just love playing here. I love playing Long Island. I love New York. I love their fans. It's a real treat to be out here."
