As one of the standout tournaments in African golf, the Betway Big Easy Tour has already played to an exciting schedule with the fourth tour set to commence at the popular Glenvista Country Club between 24 and 26 June
Hosted as a feeder circuit to the Sunshine Tour, the Betway Big Easy Tour provides a unique platform for rising golf talents to make their way to the main tour by Order of Merit.
The tour will see out 10-regular tournaments, including two events at the end of the campaign, namely the play-off and the final.
Along with the current campaign, five special events have been added to the tour, in conjunction with the Bushveld Tour and the Betway Big Easy Blue Label Invitationals.
The top 12 players from the tour will earn the right to compete on the main Sunshine Tour, which is currently led by South Africa’s Jordan Wessels on 283.54 points.
Players that finish within the 12th and 30th position will partake in the Sunshine Tour Qualifying School and will likewise receive the prospect of earning a card on the main tour.
Speaking ahead of the golfing festival, Betway Big Easy Tour General Manger Ludwick Manyama expressed that the event will continue their endevour to host some of the finest talents plying their trade in Africa.
“The Betway Big Easy Tour has grown so much over the last three seasons, and we are very excited to get the new season going,” said Ludwick Manyama, General Manager of the Betway Big Easy Tour.
“The relationship we have shared with the Bushveld Tour in the last couple of years, since that Tour’s inception, has culminated in the additional five tournaments we will co-host in the new season.
“This partnership will provide our members further playing opportunities and help improve competition among the players.”
