Croatia v Scotland

Croatia will square off with Scotland in their final UEFA EURO Group D match at Hampden Park on June 22.

The Blazers fought back to hold the Czech Republic to a 1-1 draw in their previous group game which was played on June 18.

The draw extended Croatia's winless run to four matches across all competitions having registered two draws and two defeats.

Zlatko Dalić, the Croatia head coach, is wary of a dangerous Scotland side ahead of their highly anticipated encounter.

"Scotland should have done much better against the Czechs; they had a lot of chances. They showed motivation and fighting spirit against England as well," Dalic said.

"And they will be the same against us because three points mean a historic result for them in their stadium in front of their fans.

"A winning result is what gives you that positive atmosphere and we haven't had that. We had that in Russia [at the 2018 World Cup] but now we are constantly in the red and we can't get into a rhythm."

Meanwhile, Scotland managed to hold England to a 0-0 draw in their last group match which took place on June 18.

The Tartan Army are winless in their last two matches across all competitions having recorded a defeat and a draw.

The last meeting between Croatia and Scotland was on 15 October 2013.

Scotland secured a 2-0 win over Croatia in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier that was played at Hampden Park.
