While Charles Leclerc of Ferrari finished third in an entertaining race that took place at the iconic, Silverstone circuit.
Looking at the 2021 Drivers' Championship standings, Red Bull Racing-Honda's Max Verstappen is sitting at the top and he is followed by Hamilton and Lando Norris of McLaren-Mercedes respectively.

The Nastola-born driver wasn’t entirely satisfied with his own result at the British Grand Prix, but he is pleased to have secured a podium finish.
“For me what compromised the race and being able to fight for the race win was the race start, in the qualification, in the first race start and obviously after the red flag," Bottas said.
“Losing a place at the start compromised the race, so when Lando stopped, quite early, he had a slow stop and I had to react to that, as that was the best chance to get ahead of him, so we took the opportunity.
"At the same time, we knew that was going to compromise the end of the race, but I’m still happy to be on the podium and get some good points.”
Red Bull Racing-Honda are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they were followed by Mercedes and McLaren-Mercedes respectively.
