Reigning Serie A champions will hope to recover from their recent defeat against Juventus as they prepare to take on Fiorentina on home soil this Saturday.
Napoli will head into their next encounter following a damaging 3-0 loss to Juventus as they continue to falter in their quest to retain the Scudetto.
As it stands, fourth-placed Napoli are now nine points behind log leaders Inter Milan and have now jotted down one win, three draws and a defeat in their last five league games.
Fiorentina on the other hand, are in 18th spot after their 2-1 loss against Cagliari this past Saturday. La Viola, as they’re affectionately known, accumulated just 17 points so far this season.
In addition to their woes, Fiorentina have only recorded three wins this season, two of which came in their last five league ties. Overall, Fiorentina recorded two wins, two draws and one loss in each of their last five Serie A matches.

Speaking after their 3-0 loss against Juventus, Napoli coach Antonio Conte boldly claimed that his side have now reached a state of emergency as they continue to fall behind the Serie A pace setters.
"The last league game we lost was against Udinese, and then many others happened, including the Super Cup, which we played in a state of emergency," Conte said.
"Now we’re in a real emergency.
"We’re losing players one after another. We’re not talking about short absences: some have had surgery, others have had extended recovery times.”
