Napoli will be targeting a seventh successive
Serie A win over Sampdoria when they clash at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on January 9.
Luciano Spalletti's side ran out convincing 4-0 victors in the reverse fixture at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on September 23, with Victor Osimhen bagging a brace.
The last time La Samp got the better of the Partenopei was during the 2018/19 campaign when they won 3-0 in Genoa.
The Naples outfit have been victorious in nine of their last 10 meetings, scoring 26 goals along the way and conceding just 10.

Spalletti admitted the festive break would be welcomed as fatigue had begun to take its toll on his squad, although he is looking to the New Year with optimism.
"We're a bit tired and we could do with a break. We've been lacking energy in our last few outings and we've also missed not having a player like [Victor] Osimhen," the Italian tactician said.
"Now we must focus on the second half of the season. We have to watch out for the teams behind us too."

Sampdoria ended 2021 unbeaten in their last four matches and head coach Roberto D'Aversa is hoping they can continue to make progress in the second half of the season.
"We have players here with real quality and real men who will always keep impressing me. Despite what's going on at the moment, we have everything we need from the club," D'Aversa said.
"We certainly could've done better in the first half of the season, but the lads have been doing well ever since the game in Salerno."
