Real Betis will face off with Deportivo Alaves in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Benito Villamarín on January 18.
The Green and Whites were held to a 1-1 draw by Rayo Vallecano away in their previous league game which was played on January 1.
As a result, Betis are winless in their last three league matches in this competition having recorded two successive defeats and one draw.

Betis lost to Celta Viga in their last home match in La Liga and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run as the hosts.
Meanwhile, Alaves managed to hold Athletic Bilbao to a 0-0 draw at home in their previous league game which was played on January 9.
The draw extended the Glouries' winless run to eight matches in this competition having recorded four draws and four defeats.
Alaves are also winless in their last five away matches in La Liga having registered three successive defeats and two consecutive draws.

"Everybody says that you have to win to get out of this situation [relegation zone] when you are down in the log," Alaves manager Jose Luis Mendilibar said after their clash with Bilbao.
"But I say that normally you save yourself by one, two or three points at the end of the season and not by winning three games in a row. We would like to go adding three wins in a row, but we know that it is complicated and the point is good.
"Seeing that as we have seen, the zero in goals conceded [against Bilbao] is fine and we have not deserved more by not having created too many chances. "
The last league meeting between Betis and Alaves was on 18 October 2021.
Betis claimes a narrow 1-0 win over Alaves a match that took place at the Estadio de Mendizorroza.
