The Zimbabwe international was signed by Sundowns from Ajax Cape Town in 2013. Mosimane helped Billiat transform into one of the best attackers in the country.

Percy Tau

Major Trophies: 6
PSL titles: 2
Caf Titles: 2
Local Cups: 2

The Bafana Bafana forward was nurtured in the Sundowns academy. Mosimane played a key role in helping him become arguably the best South African player at the moment.

Tau played an instrumental role in helping the Brazilians clinch the 2016 CAF Champions League trophy and two PSL titles, which earned him a big move to English side Brighton and Hove Albion.

Former Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has explained how Mosimane helped Tau prepare for Europe where he is playing for Belgian giants Club Brugge on loan from Brighton.

"Pitso did a wonderful job. What Pitso did [to transform Tau] was teaching him how to play in the opposite direction," Baxter told Kick Off.

"Percy was very good at coming to get the ball at his feet and doing things, and maybe South African defenders tended to get a little tight on him – he turned them, he gets away."

Themba Zwane

PSL titles: 3
Caf Titles: 2
Local Cups: 3

The Bafana Bafana playmaker, who joined Sundowns from lower division side Vardos FC in 2011, has developed into one of the best attacking midfielders in the country under Mosimane.

Zwane has been a consistent performer for the Tshwane giants down the years and he is currently enjoying his best season in the PSL as the club's top goalscorer with nine goals.

Denis Onyango in action for Sundowns

The Bafana Bafana midfielder has become one of the most decorated players in the history of the PSL under Mosimane as the Sundowns' inspirational captain.

Kekana, who is widely regarded as one of the best long range shooters in the world, has led the Tshwane giants to nine major trophies between 2014 and 2019.

Dennis Onyango

The Uganda captain has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Africa under Mosimane and some regard him as the best shot-stopper on the continent.

Onyango has achieved a lot with Mosimane's guidance having been named 2016 CAF Player of the Year based in Africa, the 2018 CAF Goalkeeper of the Year and the 2015/16 PSL Goalkeeper of the Season.
