Wolves fell to a second defeat in succession, going down 1-0 at home to Aston Villa on the weekend. The West Midlands outfit has won just once in their last five matches and manager Nuno Espirito Santo has called on his team to be more ruthless in the continued absence of Raul Jimenez through injury.

"In the first half it was an intense game and both teams were tight," said Santo following their defeat to Villa. "In the second we controlled the game and had clear chances. We try to keep growing on these aspects and be more clinical."

Chelsea's nine-game unbeaten run in the league came to an end away to Everton. A first-half penalty from Gylfi Sigurðsson secured all three points for the hosts at Goodison Park as the Blues missed out on an opportunity to move level on points with the league leaders.

For the fans

"You have to look at the teams winning it the last three or four years -- they have wingers, strikers scoring 30, 40 goals and league, Champions League winners," Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said in the aftermath. "Coming here to this place, they (Everton) were up for a result and we did not pass the test. We will in the future."
