Chiefs & Downs look to continue fine DStv Prem form

Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will be determined to maintain their unbeaten runs in the DStv Premiership on matchday 14.
 
Chiefs are scheduled to welcome Cape Town City at the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations final venue, FNB Stadium on  December 4. 
 
Amakhosi stretched their unbeaten run to four matches in the league when they thrashed Swallows 3-1 at home in their last game on November 28. 
 
The Soweto giants are now undefeated in their last two home matches in the DStv Premiership having recorded one draw and one victory as the hosts.
 
Chiefs will be up against a City side that is winless in their last two matches in the league having drawn 2-2 with TS Galaxy away in their previous match on November 27. 
 
The Citizens are also winless in their last four matches on the road having recorded two two successive defeats and two draws as the away side.

"I am happy for the team and I am happy that we keep getting stronger and stronger. We understand each other and the importance of collecting the maximum points that we needed," Chiefs star Khama Billiat said after the win over Swallows.
 
"It’s not easy, but we are not looking at the table. Right now, we want to focus on the things that the coaches want us to do and focus on getting the basics right.
 
"This will always help us get the good results and performances and then we will look at the table afterwards. We will stay focused and humble and we keep on working hard for the team."
 
Meanwhile, Sundowns are set to travel to the Danie Craven Stadium where they will face off with Stellenbosch FC on December 4. 
 
Masandawana extended their unbeaten run to 20 matches in the DStv Premiership when they brushed aside Sekhukhune United 2-0 at home on November 27.
 
The Tshwane giants are also unbeaten in their last 23 away matches having recorded eight draws and 15 victories as the visitors. 
 
The defending champions will face Stellenbosch side which is winless in their last four matches in the league having lost 1-0 to Royal AM away in their previous game on November 28.
 
The defeat to Royal AM ended Stellies' eight-match unbeaten run on the road in this competition having recorded two wins and six draws as the hosts. 
 
While AmaZulu FC will play host to Royal AM in the KwaZulu-Natal Derby encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on December 4.
 
Usuthu stretched their unbeaten run to five matches in the league when they drew 1-1 with Maritzburg United away in their last game on December 28.
 
They are also undefeated in their last seven home matches in this competition having recorded four draws and two victories as the hosts. 
 
Their provincial rivals, Royal AM bounced back to winning ways in the DStv Premiership when they defeated Stellenbosch at home in their previous game.
 
Thwihli Thwahla are winless in their last three away matches in the league having registered two consecutive draws and one defeat as the visitors. 
 
Lastly, SuperSport United will be desperate for a victory when they square off with Sekhukhune United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on December 5.
 
Matsatsantsa are now winless in their last two matches in the DStv Premiership when they drew 2-2 with Mamelodi Sundowns away in their last game on November 24.
 
The Tshwane giants have lost two of their last three home matches in the league, while the other game ended in a victory. 
 
On the other hand, Sekhukhune saw their two-match unbeaten run in this competition come to an end when they lost to Sundowns in their previous game. 
 
Babina Noko have lost two of their last three matches on the road in the league, while the other game ended in a win.
