Real Betis will be eyeing a return to winning ways in the
2020-21 LaLiga season when they host Levante in Seville on Friday evening.

Betis' four-game winning run in the league was ended 1-0 by crosstown rivals Seivlla last weekend, but they remain in the hunt for European football and midfielder Sergio Canales has urged his teammates to focus on their upcoming fixtures, and put the derby defeat behind them.
"Obviously it is quite frustrating, I'm not going to lie," said Canales. "It is very painful but we have to move on. We have to focus on Friday, we are in a good position on the table. We have to fight to finish up there. We have to keep improving to win these kinds of games. "
Los Verdiblancos head coach Manuel Pellegrini was happy with what he saw from his side at Sevilla and couldn't fault them for the effort they put in.
"I think we deserve much more than what the score says," Pellegrini said. "We showed personality to come here and try to win the game from the start. Unfortunately we made it easy for them [Sevilla] to score that goal.
"But we kept trying for 90 minutes. I liked the team's attitude and I have nothing to reproach the lads."
In contrast, Levante will make the trip to Seville on the back of a morale-boosting win over rivals Valencia by the same scoreline. Victory moved
Granotas (ninth) within seven points of six-placed Betis.

When the two teams met in Valencia earlier this season, Levante claimed a thrilling 4-3 win. Jose Morales and Canales scored a brace apiece for their respective teams with Levante able to see out the win despite playing the final quarter of the match with 10-men, following Rober's sending off.
