Baroka extended their drought in the league to five matches by being held 1-1 at home by Limpopo rivals Polokwane City on February 24. They have picked up just three points from a possible 15 in the sequence.

Bakgaga have claimed 15 points from 11 home matches this season, with their last win as hosts coming in mid-January when they defeated AmaZulu 2-0.

City suffered a third successive league loss when they were beaten 2-1 at home by Bidvest Wits on February 24. The Cape Town side has claimed just one win in their last six league outings, a sequence of results which has all but ended their slim title hopes.

The Citizens have claimed 15 points from 11 away matches this season, though their last game on the road ended in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Kaizer Chiefs earlier this month.

The clash between Baroka and City earlier this season in the ‘Mother City’ ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to goals from Craig Martin and Robin Ngalande.
