While much of the Betway Big Easy Tour focused on players such as Jordan Wessels and Wandre Snyman, Korean star Minjun Heo has quietly gone about his business this season and will hope to make a good impression in Soweto this week.
Heo is currently ranked fifth by Orde of Merit on the Big Easy Tour after accumulating 362.10 points from seven tournaments so far.
The 17-year-old last featured at the Betway Blu Label Unlimited Invitation 3 in July, where he finished in 31st position at the Ruimsig Country Club in Roodepoort, earning R2025 in the process.
Prior to his showing in Roodepoort, Heo partook in the Betway Blu Label Unlimited Invitation 2 at the Heron Banks Golf & River Estate in July, where he took home R1980 after placing in 32nd position.
At 17, Heo raked in R32 205 in career prize money, while he averages 4.60 Birdies per round. Additionally, Heo recorded 10 Eagles in his career so far, along with 69 Birdies as he hopes to make a name for himself on the Betway Big Easy Tour
