Rickie Fowler will be confident of winning the
Wyndham Championship for the first time when he tees off at the Sedgefield Country Club.
The American star reached a career-high fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking following his victory in the 2016 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
Fowler, who Fowler is a five-time PGA Tour winner with three international wins also to his credit, finished second at the 2018 Masters Tournament.

The California native hasn’t won the current season, but he led The 2021 CJ Cup at the Summit after 54 holes and finished tied for third behind champion Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa.
Fowler then finished tied for 21st at the 2022 Wells Fargo Championship and tied for 23rd at the 2022 PGA Championship in May.
The 2010 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year finished tied for 22nd in the 2016 Wyndham Championship for his best finish in two previous Wyndham Championship appearances.
Currently placed 133rd in FedExCup points and 165th in the Official World Golf Rankings, Fowler will be eager to improve his ranking by winning this weekend's Wyndham Championship.

"We are really excited about Rickie playing next week," Brazil concluded when talking about the 2008 Ben Hogan Award winner."
Sam Snead is the most decorated golfer in the history of the Wyndham Championship having won eight titles in 1938, 1946, 1949, 1950, 1955, 1956, 1960 and 1965.
