Valencia CF will face off with Deportivo Alaves in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mestalla on August 27.
 
The Bats were held to a 1-1 draw by Granada away in their previous game that was played on August 21.
 
The draw extended Valencia's unbeaten run to four matches in this competition having recorded two draws and two wins.

Valencia are also undefeated in their last three matches at home in La Liga having registered three successive victories. 
 
"It is very important for us that the fans are back, and they will help us a lot," Daniel Wass, Valencia's utility player, said ahead of their clash with Alaves. 
 
"Mestalla is one of the best stadiums in the world because of the fans. On Friday we have a very important game, because we can go into the break with seven points. 
 
"We are on the right track. The fans know that it is very important to us. They always help us at Mestalla."

Meanwhile, Alaves suffered a 1-0 defeat to Real Mallorca at home in their previous league encounter which was played on August 21.
 
As a result, the Glorious One are winless in their last three matches in this competition having recorded three consecutive defeats. 
 
Alaves have lost two of three of their last three away matches in La Liga, while the other game ended in a win over Elche. 
 
The last meeting between Valencia and Alaves in a league match was on 24 April 2021.
 
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match that was played at Valencia's home ground, Estadio de Mestalla.
