With only one point separating Orlando Pirates from Mamelodi Sundowns at the top of the Betway Premiership summit, the Soweto giants will now shift their focus to AmaZulu this weekend.
As it stands, Pirates are in second position on the league table after gathering 55 points from 24 matches. Following a 2-2 draw with Richards Bay last time out, Pirates now trail Sundowns by one point, while the reigning league champions have one game in hand.
With Pirates in search of their first league trophy since the 2011/12 season, the Sea Robbers will head into their next game after three wins and two draws in their last five outings.
AmaZulu currently occupies fourth on the table, with 39 points from 24 matches played so far.
Usuthu could only manage a 1-1 draw with Siwelele in their most recent outing, a result that followed a 2-2 stalemate with Sekhukhune United.
While a place in the CAF Confederation Cup is up for grabs, AmaZulu are six points behind third-placed Kaizer Chiefs after noting two wins and three draws in their last five matches.

Reflecting on Pirates season following their draw against the Natal Rich Boyz, Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his side to remain focused as there are enough games left in the season to claim the title.
“We don’t have to gamble, we have to play every game until the end and we will see what happens,” Ouaddou said.
“For us a draw is like a loss because we dropped two points.
“It’s easy to put blame on some people, but let’s stay together and be focused because we still have remaining games”.
